In your search for a restaurant you will enjoy the alleys of Mykonos and get a first <<taste>> of the island.  Eat well so you’ll be in the mood to explore later! Some restaurants for breakfast are :

LaLaLa ,in Mykonos town (15-20 euro/person),for food

A very good choice for breakfast is LaLaLa. It is located near the town, has quite good food and its prices are affordable . In short a Value For Money and safe choice in the alleys of the island!

Also excellent and more economical option for an energetic breakfast. Yummy is located near Mykonos Town and will definitely meet your expectations. Sit down, have breakfast and watch the streets of Mykonos fill full of people!

– Mykonos Mills ( In Mykonos Town),for a walk

You can’t be in Mykonos and not visit the island’s trademark, the Wind Mills. The Mykonos Mills are located in the town of Mykonos and are probably the most photographed part of the island. Of course you knew that Mykonos is the island of winds. That’s why the Mills were an important factor of the island since they were used for grinding cereals. The island used the milled cereals and produced rusks whose fame had travelled all over Greece. In fact, ships travelling in the Aegean Sea stopped on the island to buy these rusks.

At noon:

You’re in Mykonos and it’s summer, what could be better than a swim at one of Mykonos’ beaches combined with a delicious lunch after the beach! In this case you have to choose whether to visit one of the most beautiful natura beaches or an organized beach?

Agios Sostis , (Natura Beach , 15 minutes from the center of Mykonos)

Agios Sostis beach is one of the best free natura beaches of Mykonos which is located in the northern part of the Island. The geographical location of the beach allows you to enjoy it without the wind hitting your face and without having to face the waves (most of the times). Large crowds of people visit the beach every day to enjoy the endless sand and crystal clear water of the beach. Just 15 minutes away from the center you can visit it and explore the northern part of the island.

Kikis Tavern ( Incredible place for Greek food 1 minute from the beach of Agios Sostis, 19-26 euro/person ),for food

A great choice for enjoying Greek food and Greek hospitality is Kikis Tavern. Located right next to the beach of Agios Sostis, it offers food and view that will surely leave you amazed. Although there is usually a 30 minute to 1 hour wait, it is a good choice for dining. The interesting part about this tavern is that it doesn’t use electricity either to prepare the food it serves or to run the place, which is why it closes at 7pm in the afternoon when the sunlight starts to wane!

Grecotel Mykonos Lolita ( Another option for Greek food 5 minutes walk from Agios Sostis beach 20-25 euro/person),for food

The location of the restaurant is inside the Boutique Hotel Lolita building and has incredible views of the endless blue. Both the food and the staff’s service will surprise you and make you feel at home. You can enjoy Greek flavours and after the meal you can finish with a cocktail. Moreover, after dinner the swimming pool located right next to the restaurant is waiting for you and the Jacuzzi within it will always be open and ready to get you ready for the rest of your day on the island.

Principote Mykonos ( One of the biggest Beach Bar in Mykonos 15 minutes from the center for food ,drinks and swimming on the private beach, 50+/person)

If you don’t care about budget and want to experience Mykonos life for a while Principote, also on the north side of the island, is for you! It’s guaranteed to be a good time, enjoy the private beach , have a drink and have the option to eat quality food if you wish. This beach bar is one of the largest in Mykonos with an incredible architectural design that really does resemble a palace!

The Evening:

After returning from the sea, it’s time to witness how Mykonos transforms at night. So where do I go to spend my evening in Mykonos?

– Mykonos WindMills ( In the center of the island),for a walk

Yes I know you visited the mills in the morning but around 7-8 when the sun starts to set the landscape changes . You must see the island of Mykonos from the point of the Mills when the sun goes down as well as take a photo with the sunset background #Mykonos !

180o Sunset Bar Mykonos (A place with a view of the whole island , 20 minutes walk from Mykonos town, 40-50 euro/person),for a drink

One of the best places to have a cocktail and enjoy the sunset or the rest of your evening is 180o Sunset Bar. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island from above. You can either visit at 19:00 to watch the sunset or visit at night to see the illuminated town of Mykonos.

Aroma Mykonos ( In the Alleys of Mykonos , 20-50 euro/person),for a drink

Aroma is one of the most famous drink places in Mykonos. It is located in the alleys of Mykonos. In fact, it is located on one of the most central alleys of Mykonos. If you want to have a well-made drink and watch the people pass in front of your eyes, this is the place for you. Maybe while you are sitting there your favourite celebrity might suddenly appear in this alley so pay attention to the people passing by!!!

So this was the guide to 24 hours on the Windy Island! Of course 24 hours is not enough to explore the whole island but you will definitely get a generous dose of what Mykonos is all about.
